Before you place an order with us (The Parsons Wreath Company) you must read these terms and conditions. These Terms and Conditions will apply to the purchase of goods by you (the Customer) on this website from Lesley Gavaghan (the supplier) trading as The Parsons Wreath Company of 66 Smeeth Road, Marshland St James, Cambs, PE148JF. By ordering any of the goods on this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Our Goods (products).
1.1 We aim to accurately describe our products on this website.
1.2 Occasionally we may need to substitute one or more of the products if they become unavailable at the time your order goes into production. Any substitutions made will not impact the overall look.
1.3 In the case of any goods made to your special requirements (custom orders), it is your responsibility to ensure that any information or specification, for example, measurements, that you provide is accurate.
1.4 Our products are natural but we sometimes need to dye/spray them to enhance the colour. Any products we buy from other suppliers may also be dyed so we can not guarantee they will be colourfast.
1.5 Sunlight may cause fading, please store in a cool and dry place.
1.6 Our products are fragile and should be treated with care. Please handle carefully as we are not responsible for any damage occurred during use.
1.7 Our products are not toys and should not be used/worn by children. If you would like to purchase an item for a child please get in touch so we can make something suitable.
1.8 Some of our products contain thorns or abrasive materials, we try to remove anything that would make our products uncomfortable to wear but we can not guarantee all thorns etc will be removed.
2. Ordering
2.1 When an order has been submitted on this website, we can reject it for any reason, although we will try to tell you the reason without delay.
2.2 A contract will be formed for the sale of Goods ordered only when you receive an email from us confirming the order.
2.3 Please make sure you enter the correct information at the time of purchase. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in the order placed by you. If you do need to change anything in regard to your order including, for example, the delivery address please contact us.
2.4 By placing an order you agree to us giving you confirmation by means of an email with all information in it.
3. Price and Payment
3.1 The price of the Goods and any additional delivery or other charges is that set out on the website at the time of the order.
3.2 Prices and charges include VAT at the rate applicable at the time of the order.
3.3 All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
4. Delivery
4.1 We will deliver your order to the delivery location provided (usually within 5 workings days unless stated otherwise) or within the agreed time period via Royal Mail First Class Signed For.
4.2 Please contact us if your order does not arrive within the time frame expected.
4.3 We do not deliver to addresses outside England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and Channels Islands.
4.4 If you or your nominee fail, through no fault of ours, to take delivery of the goods at the delivery location, we may charge the reasonable costs of storing and redelivering them.
This is a distance contract (as defined below) which has the cancellation rights set out below. These cancellation rights, however, do not apply, to a contract for the following goods (with no others) in the following circumstances:
goods that are made to your specifications or are clearly personalised;
goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
5. Right to cancel
5. Subject as stated in these Terms and Conditions, you can cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.
5. 1 The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party, other than the carrier indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the last of the goods.
5.2 To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your order by email at parsonswreathco@hotmail.com.
5.3 We will communicate to you an acknowledgment of receipt of such a cancellation without delay.
5.4 To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
5.5 If you cancel your order, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery.
6. Returning Goods
6.1 Please send back the goods to us at 66 Smeeth Road, Marshland St James, Cambs, PE148JF without delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate to us the cancellation of your order.
6.2 You agree that you will have to bear the cost of returning the Goods.
7. Timing of reimbursement
7.1 We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than
14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have sent back the goods.
7.2 We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
8. Deductions for goods supplied
8.1 Please ensure your order is returned in the packaging it arrived in, we are not responsible for any damage occurring while you are in receipt of the goods.
8.2 We reserve the right to retain part or all of the cost of your order if the item/s are returned to us damaged or used.
9.0 Our Promise.
9.1 We have a legal duty to supply the Goods in conformity with the contract, and will not have conformed if it does not meet the following obligation.
Upon delivery, the goods will:
9.2 Be of satisfactory quality;
9.3 Be reasonably fit for any particular purpose for which you buy the goods which, before the order was placed, you made known to us.
9.4 Conform to their description.
10. Privacy
Your privacy is critical to us. We respect your privacy and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation with regard to your personal information.
These Terms and Conditions should be read alongside, and are in addition to our policies, including our privacy policy and cookies policy.
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
‘Data Protection Laws’ means any applicable law relating to the processing of Personal Data, including, but not limited to the Directive 95/46/EC (Data Protection Directive) or the GDPR.
‘GDPR’ means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
‘Data Controller’, ‘Personal Data’ and ‘Processing’ shall have the same meaning as in the GDPR.
10.1 Where you supply Personal Data to us so we can provide goods to you, and we process that Personal Data in the course of providing the goods to you, we will comply with our obligations imposed by the Data Protection Laws:
10.2 Before or at the time of collecting Personal Data, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected;
10.3 We will only Process Personal Data for the purposes identified;
10.4 We will respect your rights in relation to your Personal Data;
10.5 We will implement technical measures to ensure your Personal Data is secure.

11. Governing law, jurisdiction and complaints
11.1 This contract (including any non-contractual matters) is governed by the law of England and Wales.
11.2 Disputes can be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales or, where the customer lives in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of respectively Scotland or Northern Ireland.
11.3 We try to avoid any dispute, so we deal with complaints in the following way. 11.4 If your item arrives faulty/damaged or differs from the item purchased please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can deal with the issue. 11.5 Please email us with a short description of the problem and if possible a picture would be really helpful to enable us to address the issue appropriately.
